The seasons have well and truly switched and with that in mind this issue is packed full of autumnal inspiration – from home heating ideas, to cosy accessories to brighten up the darker evenings. We also have a flooring feature to advise and inspire you as well as lots of hints and tips on all things interiors from our industry experts.

As we enter our 30th year we’re excited for the future and as always our loyal readers are very much at the forefront of our minds, which is why we’re very excited to be launching our first ever Christmas Gift Box. A representation of what we do best, this box is packed full of enticing pieces from some of Ireland’s brightest artisans and creatives for you to enjoy and experience.

Our readers’ homes this month include our beautiful Magherafelt cover home, an architectural masterpiece that fuses owner Katherine’s love for mid-century design and Scandinavian simplicity. We also take a look around Ashen & Cloud founder, Susan McGowan’s lovely Lucan cottage as well a wonderfully renovated Edwardian dwelling in Dublin. Last but not least we have our Co. Carlow home that has been restored from ruins into a stunning property packed full of charm. If you’re in need of a little kitchen inspiration then we have two projects from Dublin and Hilllsborough that are both perfect examples of how form and function can be combined with design flair and artistry.

Also in this issue our intrepid traveller Marty O’Neill explores the sights a little closer to home with a tour around Belfast and some of its best spots for eating and drinking, we’ve also got some gorgeous recipes from Dublin chef Mark Moriarty’s new book, Flavour and Anna Corry aka Blossoming Birds reveals her favourite room in her Ballymena home, plus much more.
