Note from the Publisher

This issue marks a year since we all went into our first lockdown and like everyone else we weren’t really sure how this would affect us and the magazine. Well I am pleased to share with you, that 12 months on, thanks to the amazing support from both our readers and advertisers that Ireland’s Homes Interiors & Living has actually seen an official increase of over 27 per cent in our ABC figure and we are now selling over 100,000 copies annually! Plus, our quarterly sister publication, Ireland’s Kitchen Guide has also increased by 40 per cent and is now selling over 10,000 copies annually. Our subscriptions have doubled and as for our social pages, Instagram has tripled and we’ve seen a steady increase on Facebook too.

Ireland’s Homes Interiors & Living is very much a team effort and it has been a very different experience with many of the staff working remotely from kitchens and living rooms, while also managing to maintain a high standard of featured homes and informative interviews all while negotiating the latest COVID rules and regulations. However, for them to know that all of their hard work and dedication is being well received by you, the readers, makes it all worthwhile, and I speak for Mags and the entire team when I say they look forward to bringing you more of the same throughout the remainder of 2021.

For those readers who phone in, email or drop us a message on social to comment on what they have enjoyed reading or to get further information on items featured, we love hearing from you and pride ourselves on maintaining this interaction with all of you over the past 26 years. For those of you wondering whether or not to get in touch to tell us what you like and what you would like to see more of, or perhaps you have a home or relevant news to share, then simply email Heather at hwithers@ihil.net

This is also the ideal time to let you know that we are planning to increase the pagination of Ireland’s Homes Interiors & Living and we are actively looking for freelance writers throughout Ireland to help bring even more interior and lifestyle news on to the pages of our publication.

So, if writing for Ireland’s largest selling interior magazine is something you might be interested in doing email Suzanne at slivingstone@ihil.net

As we look forward to another great year, I just want to say a huge THANK YOU from us to you – stay safe and enjoy the issue.

PS: We have just received a testimonial from an advertiser for helping them achieve results despite COVID.
