Niall McKenna of Belfast’s acclaimed James Street South restaurant group has provided some surefire foodie winners for summer entertaining.

It’s never good when ‘the weather is so Irish’ gets bandied about, but hey, we are used to temperamental days of wind and driving rain. So, when the sun cracks the clouds or the daily high reaches double figures, the shorts and tees are out and it’s into the garden to work on our white bits. Whether those white bits are chicken or fish, is up to you. A huge fan of barbecuing himself, Niall opened Cast & Crew in the city’s burgeoning Titanic Quarter in 2015, complete with an impressive outdoor grill and a series of must-attend summer social events.
