Meet Gosia Bruen, one of the founders of online Irish baking community Bruni Bakery, who shares some of her recipes with us this month.Originally from Poland, Gosia came to Ireland to study at Trinity College Dublin 17 years ago as an exchange student, where she met her husband and Bruni Bakery co-founder, John, who hails from Sligo in the West of Ireland. ‘After I completed my economics degree, I got a job with Guinness, where I worked for 12 years. However, my daughter Helen, who is now nine years old, was only four at the time and I was working long hours and decided to take a break from work to spend more time with her. I originally thought this would be six to 12 months, but I discovered a love for baking and this led to setting up Bruni Bakery,’ explains Gosia.
