It’s a simple sentence, but one that became the foundation for Lisa and business partner April Shen’s most memorable projects. Sitting proudly among the forests of southern Vermont, Nordmarka is far more than a holiday home. It is a deeply personal retreat that tells the story of three countries and three landscapes. Designed for a Kerry native and her Norwegian husband, the woodland escape carefully combines Scandinavian restraint, treasured Irish traditions and the rugged beauty of New England into a home that is beautifully authentic.
