Designed with Intention

This Templepatrick home had potential in its bones, but it took Charlene Turkington of BUNKR Interior Design to unearth it.

Although dated and disconnected prior to its renovation, this home presented opportunity to create a contemporary family home that made better use of its proportions, natural light and garden views. Through contractor Chris Clarke, the homeowners approached Charlene Turkington of BUNKR Interior Design to help realise that vision. ‘The bungalow was purchased by my client and they could see it had great potential,’ Charlene begins. ‘It was dated, disconnected and no longer suited to modern family living. The layout did not make the most of the property’s proportions, light or garden views, and the interiors lacked a clear identity.’
