Inspired by their time in Copenhagen Seamus and Nete have introduced the art of Danish living into their home and also their celebrations at Christmas.

When Seamus and Nete bought their 1970s bungalow it was in a poor state of disrepair. The previous owners had left it to their children and it had been unoccupied for several years. It was dark and damp and didn’t make the most of the fantastic views the site had to offer. ‘We had been looking at this area for several years with an interest in buying here. This area of the Dublin mountains is extremely beautiful and has a real feeling of country living. ‘It’s actually only eleven kilometres from the city centre, so it’s perfect for commuting. I happened to notice the listing for the property, but there were a lot of bidders to contend with so it was a long drawn out process before we finally got the keys,’ explains Seamus.
