I am sitting down to write this during one of the hottest weeks of the year and can’t believe we are looking ahead to our autumn issues already, in fact, we’ve already started on December! This issue, we are very excited to be able to bring you even more interior and lifestyle inspo across an extra 32 pages! That’s more pages offering the latest interior trends, news, interviews, profiles, and of course, homes.

Our three homes this issue take us in the direction of Monkstown and into the colourful home of Kathrin and Kevin. We visit Rachel and Rob’s renovated farmhouse in Ballincollig, Cork – many of you will be familiar with their stylish home which was one of those featured recently on RTÉ’s Home of the Year. We also visit one of Northern Ireland’s oldest residential homes, Finnebrogue, which has been lovingly restored by owner Noel Lamb who has brought this period residence back to life. We have three interior features which focus on living rooms and furnishings that offer versatility and in turn make this space much more than somewhere to simply watch TV at the end of the day. We also focus on flooring and lighting options to add interest and ambience to your home décor.

I also got the chance to interview landscape photographer Norman McCloskey, and staying in his hometown of Kenmare we find out more about chef Maura O’Connell Foley’s life in food and how she has helped to put this part of Ireland firmly on the food map. As well as highlighting a few of Maura’s recipes, there’s also a selection of dishes from Irish chefs and foodies designed to offer easy meals for the whole family.

Heading to Donegal we highlight Corcreggan Mill, a stylish holiday hub in Dunfanaghy. And, in keeping with quirkier accommodation options, The Oat Box is the perfect retreat for two in Northern Ireland’s picturesque North Coast.

Every month, we love sharing all of these innovative businesses throughout Ireland, including those Irish brands, artists and makers we highlight in our Made in Ireland section, and indeed, throughout the rest of the magazine too.
