A Kitchen of Two Halves

When Blaithin and Jack bought their new house in Ranelagh they felt the kitchen needed an injection of style. The Neptune kitchens displayed in Global Village were exactly what they were looking for, so they worked on incorporating elements of their old kitchen into the new design.

When we bought the house it came with a very high end German kitchen. It was a fine kitchen in its own right, but we thought it was a little bit dull,’ explains Blaithin. ‘It wasn’t really in-keeping with our style and it didn’t really suit the house which is a period style property.’ The MDF kitchen was finished in greys and creams which didn’t have the warmth that the couple were looking for. They didn’t want the kitchen to be a mass of clean, straight lines, but rather a clever blend of traditional and contemporary designs.
