The Elegant Touch

Andrew Ryan have designed this classic and contemporary kitchen which suits the space perfectly and exudes class and style.

The client approached us because they felt it was time for a real change,’ recalls Andrew Ryan designer Philip. ‘They didn’t want a regular modern kitchen but loved the idea of minimal design without the use of standard high gloss finishes. When they saw our new unique modern range they knew straight away that this matched their brief immediately.’

The vertical and horizontal bulkheads were suggested by Andrew Ryan as an added element to give the contemporary features a framework to sit in and help to define the room space. Philip continues, ‘Due to the minimal nature of our new range, the bulkheads really enhance the end result and help each area stand out and form a very solid structure. We sketched and further refined the bulkhead features and provided the detailed drawings for the builder to complete prior to installing the kitchen.’

Philip explains the unique elements and design features of the kitchen. ‘Our City Mews styled kitchen features some very unique elements which stand out from other kitchen styles that would normally be perceived as modern within the industry. As we design and manufacture all our own doors and furniture features, we have decided not to produce the regular high gloss doors but instead we specifically developed the new range of grey smoked oak doors with vertical wide board effect, and hand finished white oiled interiors giving the kitchen a distinct style that will stand the test of time.
