Inspired ChristmasRenting a property doesn’t mean your home can’t be packed with style and full of personality, with a little creative flare, some careful redecoration, some bargain finds along with modern day furnishings, Barbara and David have proved this point.
After 13 years living in Edinburgh, Barbara and David decided to relocate to Ireland in order to be closer to Barbara’s family. ‘We both loved Edinburgh, it’s so inspiring and we had a fantastic city lifestyle there. Moving in to our first apartment triggered a love of interior design and styling.’ They describe their style as mid-century with boho-luxe vibes. ‘We were very much spoilt living in Edinburgh with the number of wonderful charity shops and with the bargains on offer we were able to pick up some mid-century pieces before they became popular. Our years in Edinburgh definitely brought out the treasure seeker in me for unique bargain finds often with a great story behind them,’ explains Barbara.
