January 2016 – Issue 247 – Happy new year!

0
Looking forward to the New Year, with the excitement and stress of the Christmas holidays behind us, our January issue is packed with lots of inspiration to turn your home into a cosy abode!

The New Year is a time for change, and on the subject of change, Ireland’s Homes Interiors & Living Magazine has undergone a few subtle changes. We have added extra food and women’s lifestyle pages as well as updating existing interior features for 2016.

This issue, take a browse through our soft seating feature, with cushions, throws and rugs to finish the look, as well as stylish window dressing ideas and an up-to-date selection of range cookers.

We visit Glasnevin in Dublin to meet Eva and her family in their beautiful Edwardian home, which has been given a quirky modern interior, full of contemporary furniture and colourful rooms. Next we stop at Co. Galway to admire Karen’s remarkable cottage, which she has transformed into a light, bright home with décor influenced by her travels. Sarah and Stuart really wanted to stay in Stuart’s home town of Dromore, so when they discovered a new housing development with the perfect family home, they just couldn’t let the house slip through their fingers.

Our reader’s kitchen this month takes us on a journey of discovery through Claire and Neil’s stunning kitchen in Coleraine. They not only wanted a modern kitchen, but a traditional one too, so with the help of Woodland Kitchens, their vision became a reality!

Staying in the kitchen, our cookery this issue brings you some dishes off the menu at the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill in the Park Avenue Hotel, Belfast, which allows you a taster into the world of beautifully crafted meals by the talented Marco Pierre himself!

Destination Ireland takes us to the Aran Islands in the Galway Bay, where the spectacular sights are all but endless. In a different mystical land, we visit Transylvania. You can experience all things Dracula related, but this beautiful Romanian region has a lot more to offer including incredible mountain ranges, stretching hills and breathtaking scenery.

Finally, the whole team at Ireland’s Homes Interiors & Living would like to wish all of our readers a very Happy New Year, and remember, if you have a home, or know of someone who has a home, that you would like to see featured in the magazine contact editorial on 028 9147 3979 or email editorial@ihil.net
