February 2016 – Issue 248

0
Having recovered from the New Year festivities, we are starting to get back into some sort of normality as we make our way into February. Of course, Valentine’s Day isn’t far off and with this in mind, we have given a subtle nod to love in our interior trend pages with heart emblems and traditional colour ways.

This issue we focus on bedrooms, highlighting a wide range of beds and bedroom furniture, lots of luxurious bedding to bring some personality into the room and storage to keep things clutter free.

Downstairs in the dining room, we bring you a selection of tables and chairs along with some accessories to help inspire you. With the dining room sorted, you’ll want to serve up the perfect meal and with our collection of hobs, ovens and extractors you can do just that!

Our readers’ homes take us to County Cork where we visit Julie who lovingly turned her weather beaten cottage into a restful retreat with beautiful coastal views. Claire and Dave’s perfect family home in Wexford meant a big change for the family, but they couldn’t be happier in the beachside town of Rosslare and award-winning hairdresser Shane Bennett shows us around his stunning home in Rostrevor, with monochrome stylings, lots of personality and beautiful views over Carlingford Lough.

Drumbo is the location of our reader’s kitchen; John and Pat enlisted the help of Canavan Interiors to design a striking kitchen that suits their home brilliantly and really delivers that ‘wow’ factor.

Staying in the kitchen, our cookery pages are brought to you from Neven Maguire’s cookbook, ‘The Nation’s Favourite Healthy Food’ which shows you that healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated or boring.

Our travel features this issue are both close to home, but nonetheless beautiful destinations! Explore the Isle of Wight and it’s stunning scenery as well as our own charming island of Ireland.
