When the owners of this period property in Dublin first viewed the house it was a far cry from the elegant residence it now is, seduced by its period charm they took on the job of restoring this property while retaining its original features.

Located in Shankhill and built at the end of the first decade of the 1800s, the original part of this house is late Georgian, later remodelled in the mid 1870s, its exterior retains a late Victorian character. Unfortunately, the house had been left to deteriorate over the years, so when the present owners came to view it back in 2000 it was in a very poor state of repair.
