Ireland is home to an overwhelming treasure trove of wild spaces that demand to be explored. With summer approaching, it’s a good time to discover some of the country’s hidden gems.

One Man’s Pass, County Donegal

While the Cliff’s of Moher may get all the headlines, The Sliabh Liag Cliffs in County Donegal offer some of the most spectacular views in Ireland and the chance to test your mettle on some of the highest accessible sea cliffs in Europe rising 1972 feet from the ocean. Visitors to the cliffs can walk the few miles to the main viewing point and be wowed by the epic nature of the scenery. More experienced walkers however, should attempt the famous One Man’s pass that loops around the Pilgrim’s Path and involves some scrambling over razor thin sheep trails and negotiating vertigo inducing cliff paths with drops of 40 feet on either side.
