Welcome

Even though Christmas may not be the same this year, I think everyone is resolute to try and make it a memorable one for all of the right reasons. Certainly, when it comes to creating that festive vibe in the home, we have tried to bring you as much inspiration as possible. Not only do we feature the Christmas homes of three of Ireland’s favourite interior Instagram influencers, but we also catch up with seven more to discover their decorating traditions, style and top tips to share with you this issue. As for gifting, never has it been more important than now to support local businesses. Here in Ireland we are fortunate to have many talented artists, designers and makers to choose from and we have merely scratched the surface with our selection in our A to Z of Irish Gifting. We also highlight a selection of Irish shops offering lots of home and lifestyle gifting that you might wish to visit in person or online. Again, this is only a start, but hopefully it will inspire you to shop local this year. Also Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without the food, so we’ve a special 19-page section filled with delicious recipes from Irish chefs and cooks for you to try this year. From starters, to main courses, desserts and sweet treats, not to mention the drinks to accompany them, there’s plenty for you to enjoy. Finally, I would just like to take the opportunity to thank you for your continued support, and whichever way you get to celebrate with your family and friends this year, from our team to yours – Merry Christmas!
