Situated just outside the idyllic coastal town of Kinsale, Co. Cork, stands a family legacy: a centuries-old mill house that has been lovingly transformed into a haven for the McGoff family. Meet Katie McGoff, a former family solicitor turned interior design enthusiast, and her husband Dave, who, alongside their five children, have breathed new life into this historic structure. Despite having always lived in the northwest of England, Katie’s connection to Ireland runs deep, stemming from her mother’s Cork roots and cherished childhood memories spent in her family summer house in Kinsale. With Dave, who also has Irish ancestry, they dreamed of owning a place where their family could retreat and eventually semi-retire. Kinsale, with its coastal beauty and familial ties, felt like the perfect choice.
