Architect Christine and her husband Matthew, an engineer, have renovated their family home in Belfast with a number of personal touches.

When they came across this 1960s detached property in East Belfast, Christine and Matthew immediately saw its potential and knew that they could update it to work for them and their two children, seven year old Luca and four year old Elise.
‘The location was ideal for us and we weren’t deterred by the renovation work that was needed both structurally and aesthetically to transform it into the contemporary home we were looking for,’ comments Christine, an architect with APD Architects who was able to do all of the necessary drawings for the renovation and project manage the work.
