Full of Romance

Amanda and Keith stripped a double-fronted Victorian townhouse in Belfast to the brick to create their French romantic, shabby chic home from scratch.

Sometimes you just know – like when interior designer Amanda first clapped eyes on the tired old Victorian townhouse which she and husband Keith would transform into their forever home to enjoy with their sons Bailey and Oliver. ‘We’d been living in a 19th century townhouse across Belfast but we were looking for another challenge – a period property, with plenty of charm, in need of refurbishment. Keith and I love a challenge and being able to put our stamp on a house is a must. As long as the bare bones are there that’s all we need,’ says Amanda whose mind was already racing with ideas on their first viewing.
