Welcome to the May issue of Ireland’s Homes Interiors & Living. As ever, this issue is a celebration of homes that tell stories – of heritage, creativity, and a deep connection to place. From a beautifully restored former farm building in Co. Antrim to an 1860s Cork cottage layered with handmade furniture and travel finds, we explore spaces where past and present live in harmony. You’ll also find a stunning family home in Lisburn, a character-filled thatched cottage in Tipperary that reflects a meaningful connection between body and home, and an energy-efficient build in Wicklow designed to bring the Irish landscape indoors. Each one is a reminder that our homes can be both a refuge and a reflection of how we want to live.

In addition to these five stunning homes, we also have two readers’ kitchens to help inspire you further, and features on flooring and outdoor furniture to help embrace the season ahead.

With the promise of longer days and lighter evenings, our gardens and outside spaces become particularly important. Our gardening guru Conrad McCormick discusses how to support wildlife without compromising on style, and Carol Klein and Diarmuid Gavin share insights into their new show Northern Ireland’s Greatest Gardens. Elsewhere, Kathleen Flavin brings us fresh, comforting recipes from the new Foxford Café Cookbook, perfect for relaxed spring gatherings, while Marty O’Neill takes us further afield with a journey through Albania. We also chat to Amanda Bone about the new series of Home of the Year and, as always, you’ll also find expert advice, news, and new releases to keep you informed and inspired.

We hope you enjoy the read.
