Quiet Classicism for a New Era

After some reconfiguration and an extension, this 1930s Clonskeagh property became the perfect base for a family of six, thanks to a gorgeous collaboration with House Iconic Interior Design.

Drawn to its period character, the homeowners of this property quickly realised it would need to adapt to modern family life and so a redevelopment journey began, one that elaborated the architectural footprint and gave way to a clean, calm and beautifully presented interior.
“While the property was full of character, it had simply become too small for a growing family,” interior designer Ella Ashworth of House Iconic Interior Design begins. Architect Seamus Keller was brought on board to design an extension and reconfigure the internal layout, allowing the original charm of the house to sit comfortably alongside the demands of contemporary living.
