A Local Design Eye in Leafy Hampstead

Kathryn Porter Interiors, a Northern Ireland-based design house, was called upon to transform this London property and the result is a palette of soft colours, deep accents, curved edges and unmistakable depth.

When Kathryn Porter stepped into a detached 3,500 square foot home in Hampstead Garden Suburb, she recognised the potential for warmth, character and contemporary family living. She brought a Northern Irish talent for taste into one of London’s most elegant postcodes.
As Design Director at her self-named studio, Kathryn took on the task of elevating this five-bed, five-bathroom property. The homeowners wanted a contemporary look that felt liveable for their young family without losing a sense of elegance.
