In the interior style of Soft Minimalism, the star of the room is the seating. This is the sculptural anchor. Think rounded generous sofas, low and almost blocky armchair silhouettes, colours that blend with the chosen palette, and furniture not pressed flat against the wall. When creating a space that is restorative and relaxing, picking the right seat and sofa is so important. While Soft Minimalism stems from the Minimalist movement, it is not as extreme as the original practice and instead only carries the main theme of being intentional about what you keep around you. Soft Minimalism is intentional and grounded with the sole aim of creating a space that is peaceful.
