I’ve invested in a garden room to use as my home office. How can I make the best use of the space?

Before installing a garden room, first ask yourself what you want that room to be. Is its sole purpose to be a home office, or do you also want to use it as a multi-purpose living space? Do you want it to be somewhere for the family to gather when meetings are done for the day? Would you like to do some yoga there in the morning? I’ve recently renovated an existing home office for a client. At 4 x 3.5 metres, it was a good-sized space. Like many garden rooms, it had lovely big doors and windows opening onto a sunny southwest-facing garden.
