Right Tree, Right Place

One of the most important decisions to make when designing and planting up a garden is choosing a tree or trees. There are many different species of trees, with some varieties chosen for flowers, autumn colour or their fruit.

When purchasing a tree in a garden centre, chances are it is small enough to fit in your car, but the tree will grow once it is planted in the ground and the ultimate growth of the tree will impact on your garden significantly. It is essential that some research is done on a suitable tree for your garden before it becomes a big job to remove.
There are lots of factors to consider when selecting a tree and these are normally indicated on the attached plant tag, so its important to pay some attention to this information.
