A Chic Contrast

Simon and Lorraine wanted a Neptune kitchen for their new Malahide home. What Global Village Interiors has created is beautiful and elegant and creates a stunning chic contrast with the red brick walls.

Our previous kitchen was oak with units painted in a pale green colour,’ explains Lorraine. ‘There was a black granite work surface and a solid oak island. There were dark brown stone tiles on the floor and oak ceiling beams. When we purchased the new house last year the kitchen had been installed by the previous owners, so we knew we wanted to design a kitchen that suited our own needs. There was a large display unit which while aesthetically nice, it was not something we were going to get use out of and so we wanted to replace this with more storage. We also wanted to brighten the room.’

So what made the couple choose a Neptune design? ‘We had previously purchased some Neptune items from Global Village Interiors and we liked the design of the items and found the quality to be very high.’
