Classical Contemporary

This bright and shining kitchen was designed by Newcastle Design who have used clean lines and bespoke finishes to create a modern and stylish space.

Designer Ronan from Newcastle Design describes this client’s previous kitchen. ‘It was quite a dark space and wasn’t very contemporary. For their new kitchen they wanted a bright and airy space with bespoke cabinetry and modern appliances that would suit the family’s needs.’

After their initial consultation with Newcastle Design, the clients explained that they wanted a space that would be stylish as well as being homely. They understood that a relaxed atmosphere was necessary because they would be spending most of their time in the kitchen. The clients wanted the kitchen to be primarily bright and airy, so choosing the white finish on the bespoke cabinets has helped achieve this. Having a room that would be welcoming and a place where the family could spend time together was also crucial and the open-plan style with table and chairs was a great addition to the final design. Newcastle Design had previously designed various bespoke pieces for other rooms of their home and the client was so satisfied with the craftsmanship and design, there was no hesitation that Newcastle Design would be the kitchen company that would create their new space.
