Culinary Chic

Katherine and John wanted a contemporary design for their home in Belfast. Wrights Design House has created an über modern and stylish space which suits the family’s needs to a tee.

Our previous kitchen was traditional oak with an ornate mantle and a large island unit that incorporated a microwave and a granite worktop,’ explains Katherine. ‘We also had a large larder. It was getting a bit dated and after looking through some kitchen magazines I knew I wanted our new kitchen to have clean lines and be more modern.’

Katherine continues, ‘We chose Wrights Design House as we had visited quite a few kitchen companies and they provided us with the best design that would suit our needs.’ During the initial consultation at the showroom, designer Glen and the couple created a wish-list; discussing various ideas and textures that could be incorporated in the project. After Glen’s first initial design was drawn up, the couple loved the concept and work began on the project.
