Magical Majorca

Marty O’Neill steps off the tourist trail to discover some true Majorcan delights.

I’ve written several articles over the last couple of years about the pure joy that the island of Majorca brings me – particularly about the capital city Palma and its incredible food scene and convenience to the airport (a ten-minute cab ride) which make it an ideal city break. As a holiday destination Majorca is always a popular choice but dare to step away from that all-inclusive resort and wander off the beaten tourist trail, and you’ll be rewarded with magical clifftop lighthouses and beaches where you’ll find very little more than a handful of locals and a few mega yachts moored just a stone’s throw away.
