This Georgian-style home in the charming village of Hillsborough has been given a timeless makeover that is rich in style and strong on craftsmanship.

Tara and Edward’s one-and-a-half-storey townhouse spent its first 11 years as a rental. Built in 2004, it was structurally sound but in need of some aesthetic updates. It was a journey the couple were invested in.
“The house needed a lot of love. There was so much magnolia. While it was built to an amazing standard and every wall in the house is solid brick, the original layout did not make good use of the space, Tara begins. “We didn’t plan a full renovation all at once as we had an 11-month-old and a three-year-old at the time. Then we ripped up the kitchen and one thing led to another and by the end we kept saying we might as well just get the whole house done.”
