Hamptons Meets Sandymount

Originally built in the 1930s, Kate’s Sandymount home has undergone a full internal renovation that reimagined both its layout and its sense of style, with a helping hand from bespoke interior specialists, Christoff.

The house was originally a three-bedroom home,’ homeowner Kate begins. ‘But the previous owners had added a side and rear extension, so it was already a generous size. It didn’t need extending again. Instead, we focused on a complete internal renovation.’ The couple reconfigured the entire layout, taking down most internal walls and turning it into a five-bedroom, five-bathroom home, with three of the bedrooms ensuite. ‘The whole build took around 12 months from start to finish, so it was definitely a big project for us to undertake,’ Kate adds.
