For Sheelagh Wright, interiors are more than a passion. Through her business, Property Staging NI, she stages homes for sale across Ireland, helping owners elevate their spaces to secure higher values and faster sales. Her own Belfast Edwardian home, shows exactly why staging matters.

You’d expect the home of someone whose career is based on making other people’s properties market-ready to be pretty special and Sheelagh’s home is just that. It’s layered, considered and sympathetic to the origins of the property. ‘When I started on this house, I decided to document it on Instagram,’ Sheelagh explains. ‘People began asking me for advice, and then someone asked me to stage their home. I had extra furniture and I realised there was a real market for it. After the first lockdown in 2020, it just grew. People twigged very quickly how much staging can increase interest and value.’
