There’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes to choosing a bed. It depends on how you sleep, your personal preference, and what your space and budget allow. There’s been a big shift recently towards statement headboards and bold, dramatic designs, including 6ft tall headboards, winged sides and rich velvets. But, simple designs and timeless neutrals, such as soft parchment or beige, are always popular and tend to age better, offering more flexibility if your style changes. It comes down to personality: do you want your bed to be the star of the show, or play a supporting role? There’s no wrong answer, just make sure the one you choose still feels like ‘you’ a few years down the line.
