Our January issue is designed to give you a big hug! Yes, it’s that time of year when we all fall into hibernation mode as the Christmas festivities come to a close and we retreat to the warmth and comfort of home during those harsh winter months. Focusing on the living room, we advise on how to create a laidback space where you can truly switch off and unwind. From the colours you use to decorate this space, including 2020’s calming Tranquil Dawn, as well as furniture, which is designed to be comfortable, yet stylish at the same time, plus soft flooring options and draped window dressings.

This month we have three inspirational homes. Ex-Miss Northern Ireland and Instagram influencer Tiffany Brien opens the doors to her newly renovated Holywood home and we take a closer look at how she has renovated and redecorated this coastal property. We also pay a visit to another labour of love in Portlaoise where homeowners David and Karen have updated the interiors to work for their growing family. And last, but by no means least, Malahide is the location of our third home, which embodies the nomadic lifestyle of its owners Belén and James who renovated in line with their love of Brazilian architecture.

Finally, for those looking to get away from it all, we offer tips on spending an exhilarating 48 hours in Dublin City or if you are looking for something more relaxed, then it’s time to leave winter behind you as you relax with a glass of rum in hand in Barbados!
