Innovation is a long-standing Bauknecht tradition. To be precise, it’s a tradition going back more than 90 years. No wonder, given that our roots lie in a region of Germany famous for its inventors and engineers: Swabia. That’s where, in 1919, the 27-year-old Gottlob Bauknecht founded his first electro-technical workshop. His goal: to use electric motors to make work easier for people. This was the foundation of a business whose innovations would enthral people time and again in the years to come.
