September 2016 – Issue 255

Ireland’s Homes Interiors & Living is now 22 years old and a well-established title with a loyal readership, so it is great to see all of the team’s hard work rewarded by the judges. Competing against other consumer and business titles in NI, we are proud to be able to say we received this award for Magazine of the Year 2016.’ Mike Keenan, Publisher Ireland Homes Interiors & Living.

At the Coca-Cola CIPR NI Media Awards held in The MAC Belfast on Friday 24th June Ireland’s Homes Interiors & Living Magazine was announced the winner of Magazine of the Year.

One of eight magazines shortlisted in this category, the judges felt that Ireland’s Homes Interiors & Living ‘is stylish, classy and holds its own amongst other similar national titles. It wouldn’t look out of place on anyone’s coffee table,’ they commented.

The event, hosted by broadcaster and comedian Colin Murphy, welcomed over 240 people from the world of media, public relations and business to celebrate its 23rd anniversary. Held by The Chartered Institute of Public Relations in Northern Ireland (CIPR NI) these annual Awards honour the best that local journalism has to offer.

Siobhan O’Sullivan, Director of Sales & Marketing at the Fitzwilliam Hotel Belfast comments, ‘The Fitzwilliam Hotel are delighted to have sponsored the Magazine of the Year category at this year’s CIPR Media Awards. These Awards recognise excellence in NI’s media industry and standards were set incredibly high again this year. The Fitzwilliam is a stylish, luxurious hotel, so it was a pleasure to sponsor this category which recognises style and design. As a cutting edge, luxury magazine constantly striving for new ways to create and innovate, Ireland’s Homes Interiors & Living was a very worthy winner.’
