In this issue we are focusing on the hub of the home; the kitchen. We have an array of tips and advice for all aspects of kitchen planning from some of Ireland’s kitchen experts. We look at the different styles and finishes that are popular toady; we have natural finishes in both contemporary and classic stylings, a more glamorous approach to kitchen style, a selection of striking modern kitchen designs, and something a little bit different but really on trend, beautiful kitchens with mint hues. We also have a stylish selection of bar stools for you to ponder, the perfect addition to your kitchen island or breakfast bar. Lastly, we look at all those little extras that offer a helping hand in the kitchen; from coffee machines and kettles to toasters, mixers and blenders.

From one kitchen to another, Daniel and Emma invite us to view their stunning spacious and sleek kitchen by Parkes Interiors that complements the rest of their home in Portglenone.

The first of our readers’ homes this issue belongs to Noel and Dee in Wicklow, and they have lovingly restored and renovated a former dairymaid’s cottage while preserving the old stone building in the process. Next we are off to Bangor, County Down to visit Kim and her partner Jim at their stunning coastal bungalow which has a mixture of both modern and classic stylings throughout. Lastly, Conor and Naomi show us their family home in Dublin, full of colour splashes and lots of natural light flowing through the home.

Our cookery pages are brought to you by James Street South Bar + Grill and travel this issue explores all that Tyrone has to offer, from the American Folk Park to the surrounding scenery. Off to Europe we look at the beautiful country of Croatia, perfect for both lovers of the outdoors and those that wish to relax in tranquil surroundings.

With a Father’s Day gift guide to help inspire you at this time of year, this really is a jam-packed issue and we hope you enjoy it!
